SWIG is a software development tool that connects programs written in C and C++ with a variety of high-level programming languages. SWIG is used with different types of target languages including common scripting languages such as Javascript, Perl, PHP, Python, Tcl and Ruby. The list of supported languages also includes non-scripting languages such as C#, D, Go language, Java, Lua, OCaml, Octave, R and Scilab as well as the Guile implementation of the Scheme language. SWIG is most commonly used to create high-level interpreted or compiled programming environments, user interfaces, and as a tool for testing and prototyping C/C++ software. SWIG is typically used to parse C/C++ interfaces and generate the 'glue code' required for the above target languages to call into the C/C++ code. SWIG can also export its parse tree in the form of XML.

Open-source, free, multi-platform BASIC compiler, with syntax similar MS-QuickBASIC (including the GFX statements), that adds new features such as pointers, unsigned data types, inline assembly, a pre-processor and many others.

Lazarus is a free and open source development tool for the Free Pascal Compiler. The purpose of this project is to serve as a Code Repository, Wiki Knowledgebase and support site for converting existing components and libraries to work with Lazarus and the Free Pascal Compiler.

SMC takes a state machine stored in a .sm file and generates a State pattern in 14 programming languages. Includes: default transitions, transition args, transition guards, push/pop transitions and Entry/Exit actions. See User Manual for more info.

4tH is a Forth compiler with a little difference. Instead of the standard Forth engine it features a conventional compiler. 4tH is a very small compiler that can create bytecode, C-embeddable bytecode, standalone executables, but also works fine as a scripting language. It supports about 95% of the ANS Forth CORE wordset and features conditional compilation, pipes, files, assertions, forward declarations, enumerations, structures, suspended execution, recursion, include files, etc. It comes with an RPN calculator, BASIC interpreter, line editor, preprocessor, compiler, decompiler, C-source generator, a virtual machine, and a multitasking environment.

z390 Portable Mainframe Assembler and Emulator

This ASN.1 compiler turns ASN.1 specifications into C code. The asn1c is shipped together with conformant BER/DER/XER/PER codecs. The X.509, GSM TAP3, MEGACO, RRC and LDAP encoding and decoding examples are part of the source code distribution. The aim of this project is to develope a decompiler for java which is platform independent and has options to obfuscate the class file also. The project takes class file as input and decompiles it and provides the source file.

jdec is a Java Decompiler. It can be used to reverse the bytecodes present in a .class File to produce a Java Source File which can be nearly correct or equivalent (Due To different Interpretations) to the original java file.[With UI & command line]

This project is dedicated to developing more readable format(s) for Lisp-based languages (such as Common Lisp and Scheme) and implementing those formats (readers, pretty-printers, editor macros, etc.). MIT license preferred, to spread them widely.

An open source COBOL compiler for the PC x86-32 platform. Generates GNU assembler and requires GCC to produce a binary. Supports Linux, BSD and MinGW 32 bit platforms.

SableCC is a parser generator which generates object-oriented frameworks for building compilers, interpreters and other text parsers. SableCC keeps a clean separation between machine and user code which leads to a shorter development cycle.

DBOW is a database compiler-compiler or front-end. It takes table definitions in a relatively high-level language and prepares C, C++, PHP, Perl (etc) functions for manipulating the database. It will also produce SQL table data for MySQL.

JFlex is a flex-like lexer generator for Java with emphasis on speed and full Unicode support. It has some not so usual features like negation in regexps and nested input streams. Also reads JLex specifications unchanged.

ASN.1 types and codecs (BER, CER, DER) implementation in Python programming language. A collection of various ASN.1-based protocols data structures is supplied in a dedicated Python package. The Java Modeling Language (JML) is a behavioral interface specification language that can be used to specify the behavior of Java modules (as in design by contract -- DBC). BNF for Java is a BNF Compiler-Compiler, or Parser-Generator. It implements ISO Standard Backus-Naur Format, using Java. BNF allows you to create a syntax, or a complete language, to parse your data source. Your custom Java extensions generate output.
