GCSF is a virtual filesystem that allows users to mount their Google Drive account locally and interact with it as a regular disk partition. Update (April 2019): I am currently still using and maintaining this project but I have very little time to dedicate to it. As such, it might take a while before I get around to fixing known bugs / implementing feature requests / responding to open issues. GCSF requires the stable branch of the Rust programming language, which can be installed following the instructions on rustup.rs. If you already have Rust installed, make sure that it is updated to the latest version (≥1.26). Make sure you have pkg-config and the fuse library installed. These are usually found in the package repositories of major distributions. Rust can be installed via the lang/rust port. You will need to install sysutils/fusefs-libs for the cairo install command to succeed.

xplr is a terminal UI-based file explorer that aims to increase our terminal productivity by being a flexible, interactive orchestrator for the ever-growing awesome command-line utilities that work with the file-system. To achieve its goal, xplr strives to be a fast, minimal and more importantly, hackable file explorer. xplr is not meant to be a replacement for the standard shell commands or the GUI file managers. Rather, it aims to integrate them all and expose an intuitive, scriptable, keyboard-controlled, real-time visual interface, also being an ideal candidate for further integration, enabling you to achieve insane terminal productivity.

You list files hundreds of times a day. Why spend your time squinting at black and white text? exa is an improved file lister with more features and better defaults. It uses colours to distinguish file types and metadata. It knows about symlinks, extended attributes, and Git. And it’s small, fast, and just one single binary. Different types of file and data will be coloured differently, and the user and group columns will be highlighted for the current user. exa can display a file’s extended attributes, as well as standard filesystem information such as the inode, the number of blocks, and a file’s various dates and times. exa queries files in parallel, giving you performance on par with ls. Not only is the standard tree tool built-in, but it’ll show you your files’ information alongside the hierarchy. View the staged and unstaged status of every file, right there in the standard view. Also works in tree view for a high-level overview of your repository.

Easily and securely share files and directories from the command line through a safe, private and encrypted link using a single simple command. Files are shared using the Send service and may be up to 1GB. Others are able to download these files with this tool, or through their web browser. All files are always encrypted on the client, and secrets are never shared with the remote host. An optional password may be specified, and a default file lifetime of 1 (up to 20) download or 24 hours is enforced to ensure your stuff does not remain online forever. This provides a secure platform to share your files. History tracking your files for easy management, ability to use your own Send hosts. Inspect or delete shared files, accurate error reporting.
