Open Source C System Software for Mac

This is my little "FreeDOS Floppy Disk Distribution". It is intended for computers without a CD drive or not able to boot from CD. It will work down to 8086. See xxxxxxxxx for details. Right now only the LIVE image is available. Installable coming soon.

This project is an effort to develop open source software for all old platforms, like MSX, Commodore, AMIGA, Atari, ..... and collect technical information about old platforms, keeping the "old skool" flame alive.

Have you ever wanted to have a portable MindGuard operating system, that can live inside a small USB flash drive and you can carry it around with you? Although, this is possible and have been around for some time. It was possible for a paranoid to run MindGuard from a USB stick just like you would have run it from a hard drive, but this task was quite hard to do. Why? Because the process was very geeky! You had to type a lot of geeky commands in a terminal and if, somehow, you forgot one or typed something wrong, the process had to be started all over again. Well, the process is now not at all geeky with Mind Guard Linux available that makes it possible for anyone to create a bootable CD/DVD or USB flash drive with MindGuard in it. Mind Guard Linux 2018 is available now, based on Ubuntu 16.04LTS. User Name & Password is Linux. MGL NoPAE ISO is for Machines with 4GB RAM & MGL PAE ISO is for Machines with Maximum up to 64GB of RAM. Mind Guard is the Glasses.

Apple1 emulator, like the Replica1, for the terminal with full cut and paste. Forked from napple1 and pom1. Tested with figFORTH and APPLESOFT BASIC. Tested and compiled on LINUX 3.0.x, OSx 10.6.x, and Windows XP/Vista/7 and it works well. A folder of sample applications is included for you to be ab le to use your "faux1" right after the install. Pre compiled Windows installer and source is available for all platforms (LINUX, POSIX, OSX, and Windows). To compile you will need make, gcc, and the standard development libraries. There are no difficult dependencies to figure out.
