No

I have always used Virtual Magnifying Glass (VMG) in Classic mode. I decided to see what the other mode would be like, and selected that mode. Now, the magnifier does not work. I uninstalled VMG and installed VMG numerous times. I even rebooted my computer.
All I get when I open VMG is a small black box that will not respond to anything. I get an icon on the task bar and have to use that to close the black box.

I am using Windows 10. VMG was working fine before I tried the other mode.

Please help and tell me what to do to get VMG back. VMG is 10,000 times better than the piece of junk magnifier that Microsoft put in Windows 10.

Thanks.

I discovered the classic version works only when I right click the desktop icon and select "Run as Administrator" and then click "Yes" to allowing the appt to make changes to my computer. This is inconvenient. I still would like only to have to click the icon in my Taskbar and have the app open in Classic mode.

    Still need help.

    Thanks.

      Hello,

Do you receive e-mails sent here? I don't have a Windows machine right
now, but the problem is probably due to the configuration file. You
      have to find it.

      Search these pathes:
      C:\Documents and Settings_MY_USER_\Application Data\magnifier.ini
      or
      C:\Program Files\Virtual Magnifying Glass\magnifier.ini

      I would try to:
      1> Uninstall
      2> Delete both configuration files
      3> Install again

please let me know if this solution works for you.
