This is less a package to install and more a bundle of files to be placed in a web server. As a result, the installation process is just extracting the files to where you need them. On a standard Ubuntu 10.04 or later (and several versions earlier) installation, with Apache loaded, the files can be put directly in the DocumentRoot, assuming it has the ExecCGI option turned on. By default, this means the files would be in /var/www and in /etc/apache2/sites-available/default , the block starting with <Directory /var/www> should include Options +ExecCGI AddHandler cgi-script cgi On other systems with other configurations, you will need to understand the settings well enough to duplicate this.
