Afte a long hiatus and a switch from activestate to strawberry I have released an alpha version of the 64 bit version of rautor in executable (par packed) format.

Feel free to download / try / use and comment about it.

JNLP now works !

Is now available, java is back in town because JNLP sucks dirty wet socks!

The Viewer is no longer bundled with the installer. You can get is at http://www.unix.gr/rautor/rautor/viewer.html as it is a Java Web Start Application now.

Also old session data uploading is now configurable

1.9 is available, it fetaures the ability to operate in light mode. That is the webserver can server screen dumps without the screendumper proper working. Also a hidden executable exists to interactively undo the proxy settings. Look for UnsetProxy.exe in your Program files under Rautor !

Rautor now supports an embedded Web Server. It supports two URLs
1) http://ip:port/screen.png to display the last captured screen
1) http://ip:port/monitor to automatically keep reloading URL #1 :-)
Default port is 2222

Rautor now can enforce Opera's proxy settings!

I am having so much trouble with the new "easier" FRS system that SF has online that I am making the new releases of rautor available online on my website. Please visit www.unix.gr and follow the rautor links to get the latest binaries.

SVN version now scans for left over sessions' files and queues them up for upload. This way a parent will be sure that a power off will not result to data loss

SVN version can now maintain a try icon with a bit of status information.
I guess I will make it configurable in the future.

SVN version now supports proxy enforcing mechanism. Rautor can force the use of certain proxy for I.E. and Firefox.

The idea is that your provider will have a virus checking proxy like havp so you force your kids browsing through that proxy to protect yourself.

Even better for providers that have deployed dansguardian you can have enforced content filtering!

A bug was located in the code that triggers Rautor for specific windows names and was subsequently fixed.

RautorViewer now has a text search facility. It allows you to jump to the screenshot whose contents match what you typed in. Warning, your mileage may vary.

I got rautor to play nicely with PP and now you have a self running installer.

Version X of rrs.pl is now available on svn. It is a gui to help people set their registry settings easier.

I am releasing Rautor to the public in the hope that someone will find it useful. I think that parents that want to monitor/audit their children will find rautor invaluable! It can grab a screen,they keyboard and some of the textual contents of the screen
