#1 Return error values durign parsing
Currently, errors during the parsing phase (e.g., the SCL phase) are outputted to the screen but no error exit values are returned. The consequence is that if the parsing is executed in a makefile, the make process will not stop with the error and it is likely that errors may not be seen.
