CloudFiler

Pros: Costs are cheap compared to competitors, product is lightweight and can use on all devices including Mobile Phones. Also, the have an extremely responsive support/development team.

Cons: None really, being an early user of the product we had some initial teething issues, but this is to be expected when doing a 'beta' use, but everything was sorted asap by the Developers.

Overall: Switched from Mail Manager to CloudFiler mainly due to two reasons and that was the significant cost savings and the ability to have our very mobile users being able to file emails on the fly on their mobile phones.

Pros: Very fast and practical. Is very visual which makes it easier. Also it reminds you to file the sent emails which is great!

Cons: I would like to be able to find emails with attachments more easily.
It is a bit slow when filing the emails.

Overall: It helps to speed up filing. It has a very easy interphase and its friendly.

Pros: I like the ease of use and how much time I save. The cost is one of the main reasons we decided to go with CloudFiler, no regrets! Customer support is also excellent!

Cons: There are some features, such as search, that could be made better. But they are aware of it and are making changes.

Overall: We were using Outlook Public Folders and looking for a more intuitive solution. Since getting CloudFiler not only have I personally saved time but for the first time we have gotten 100% of our team to file their emails. I would recommend CloudFiler to any business.

Pros: Ease to use, Outlook add-in compatible with old and new OWA. Cloud based, automatic rollout to users.

Cons: Web view needs work - but new UI is in development.

Overall: Great product with the potential to be excellent - developers are responsive and always improving it.

Pros: Very responsive technical team when we were setting up and had the odd bug. Does the job and easy to use. Like seeing whether someone else has filed the same email.

Cons: Takes up a bit too much space on the screen. Also I am not a fan of the purple colour. The filing destinations seem to change as you type and often suggest the last place you filed to as well as its best guess. Setting and administration page is slow to update changes. Would like to see being able to batch edit locations rather than one at a time.

Overall: Altogether very positive. I'm glad we switched from Mail Manager as the cost had become far too much.

Pros: The filing location set up is very convenient as once it is set up the locations are saved so if you change machines you do not need to re-map all the filing locations again as they are already set up.
The search function is easy to use and it is easy to move emails if they need to be filed somewhere else.
The electronic back up is also a good feature and very useful if an email gets deleted, it's easy to retrieve and file in the in house system.

Cons: There were teething problems with getting the system to do what we needed/required for our particular set up but they have since been resolved.

Overall: The CloudFiler team were very supportive in getting us set up and working with us to get the system to fit the requirements of the business as well as providing training sessions with staff to help get everyone up to speed on how to use the system and answering any questions they had. The location set up is both convenient and time saving and easy to use.

Pros: We switched from a competitor's product to CloudFiler for 2 main reasons. Firstly, CloudFiler has a much better vision with the product. We added some MAC users to the network and our previous solution did not have a MAC version. Secondly, CloudFiler costs much less and provides most if not all the features and capabilities and more.

Cons: May not be as mature of some other products but it seems that they are on target with delivering on promises.

Overall: Couldn't be happier with CloudFiler. Great product that is priced well. Time will tell but so far so good.

Pros: Ease of operation. A simple and effective solution to daily email management. Could not live without this!

Cons: Not a fan of the necessity to have the reading pane open as part of the functionality as this takes up space and for me is not how I like to work, but at the end of the day, that's a personal thing and detracts nothing from the capabilities of the software.

Overall: Great piece of software which is evolving with improvements being added frequently. I could not manage myself or the business without this essential tool. Keep up the great work.

Cons: Nothing crucial. A few teething issues but as early adopters this was expected and were quickly resolved.

Overall: An effective tool for centralising shared project emails.

Cons: None really, I was an early user so it did have some missing features, but they are releasing improvements all the time. If you think of something, you can just email the team and they put it on the list for consideration. Beauty of a nimble team.

Overall: Excellent, glad to have found it. At my old organisation they used Newforma which was OK, but clunky and slow.

Pros: Cloud based, intuitive, great support. New features / improvements added frequently. Happy clients!

Cons: Some functionality is currently in separate installers although there are advantages to this and I understand why it is done this way. I believe that this may change going forward however.

Overall: Previously customer was using Mail Manager, this is a much improved experience from my (IT admin perspective). Fully cloud based and migration was straightforward with fantastic support along the way.

Pros: We had used our Oasys email management system for many years, but unfortunately the cost soared after it was sold to new owners who didn’t want to accommodate or support a small business like ours.

Furthermore, the system required enormous amounts of local processing power and clogged up our local network; all our users need access to all projects and hence were indexing all the networked folders, multiplying the computing resources required and swamping the network in pointless traffic. This overheated my laptop and reduced everyone’s productivity.

By comparison, CloudFiler is a lightweight system using hardly any local computing or network resources, and is compatible with both our earlier versions of Outlook and the new online Outlook too.

Cons: No problems. It is great piece of software which we thoroughly recommend.

Overall: We are delighted to have found CloudFiler, the switch-over was easy and we feel valued once again. Thoroughly recommended to all our friends, colleagues and business contacts.

Pros: Simple, cloud based email management solution which allows setting up of filing destinations both on-prem and in the cloud.
CloudFiler’s consistent UI makes filing from my Mac and iPad simple.

Cons: Need your admin team to configure add-in and can take some time for initial setup.

Overall: CloudFiler helps our team consistently file important project documentation and communication. Simple to use.
