Pros: The database has very easy to use menus and the amount of information is substantial. The menus and options available allow the user to drill down to the desired information conveniently. The report capabilities are very helpful.
Cons: The information on employees is hit or miss, especially for employees that seem to have been with a company for less than 5 years. Finding the corporate parent can be a bit tricky if a company has several subsidiaries.
Overall: This product seems to be the best of its kind. Because of its ease of use and the amount of information available, plus the report capabilities, make this worth trying to see if it is a good fit.

Address, revenues, and employee information.Cons: Sometimes the amount of data is so vast that my computer is slow to populate inside of Salesforce.

Pros: I have met some people that work for D&B. they are nice, I like them. I am sad that my experience with the D&B product has been the opposite.
Cons: It's slow

site is clunky and unintuitive to navigate
Inefficient salesforce integration
no plugin/extension for chrome???????? this makes it essentially useless for most business development teams ive ever been a part of. Most workflows go through SalesNav. Make the extension. let people look at salesnav contacts with a pane that has the individuals data available to port to CRM. ZoomInfo, Lusha, Apollo, all these guys do it and I've loved them. i truly don't understand the lack of investment here.

The highlight is supposed to be account mapping but its far easier just to ask ChatGPT. AT least GPT is transparent about the uncertainty of information and provides alternative suggestions/routes for finding information

Pros: D&B has long been recognized as an authority on the financial component to help identify high-risk companies. We use it as a way to confirm business activity, industry classifications, and contact information. It's a decent price for a fairly comprehensive and reputable source.
Cons: Because it's been around a while. It's bloated. Meaning that the Data quality for contacts is on par with other datasets. In some cases, people have left the company or even died, and yet are still listed as contacts. Also, companies often change names or change accountants which results in duplicate company records or inaccurate profiles. So, this data should be independently validated with LinkedIn and company websites, for accuracy.
Overall: The problems above are not unique to D&B, but are issues for most databases. D&B is better than most in that if you provide supporting documentation for data errors, they do their diligence in updating and correcting the information. This alone makes them stand apart from competitors and worth the time, money, and energy to improve the product.

Pros: With the appropriate module, we can access and correct our data. We’re able to identify charges made against us and dispute them if necessary. However, the source of the data remains unknown. To my knowledge, no competitor offers this level of insight.
Cons: The least helpful aspect is that no affordable module provides access to the necessary information or meaningful definitions. While using the basic paid module, I was presented with additional paid upgrade options. I had to subscribe to one of them just to proceed, and then contact support to disable the auto-renewal manually.
Overall: D&B Hoovers is a vital tool for our company in maintaining accurate records and ensuring data integrity. Its robust search capabilities—including map-based searches with pin drops—are especially useful for locating accounts within specific regions or verifying particular locations. Pros: Good company data and good for finding names of contacts for prospecting. Overall, a dependable source for detailed summaries of accounts
Cons: Some functionality is not as user friendly, a lot of contacts are not updated or accurate, and triggers and Bombora are not as great as I would have hoped for.
Overall: Good experience. Like the product for the price point. I will continue to use it because it does meet its purpose and gives an ROI.

I liked that D&B Hoovers provided detailed information about companies and their contacts, as well as a wealth resources for researching potential customers and partners.
Easy to use, good amount of database and easy to find industry niche with the help of SIC Codes and NAICS Code.Cons: I also do not like the "incomplete information" tag which is confusing and also it does not print on the report. So it seems like fake information.
There is often times missing information specifically org charts and addresses.
It sometimes difficult to login and takes forever to get a forgot password email.
40 to 50% database is inaccurate.
