"Konqueror is back as a web browser"

    Posted 2021-12-29

Pros: After years of being unable to handle websites with any modern HTML or CSS containers, it has so far worked faultlessly in handling webpages containing the most up-to-date HTML and CSS.
It still has all its file handling properties which at one time made it so special.

Cons: It still has the drop-down list of visited sites rather than guessing the most likely one as most other browsers now do.

Overall: Reassured to find an old - and long trusted - friend fit and well again. It could do with a bit more TLC but this is a great start.
