Blogroll

I like the idea of a blogroll. Nicked off Chris Glass but dating back to the very end of the last century. Which is a phrase that makes me feel extremely ancient.

Needless to say, I don't endorse anything and everything written everywhere in these external sites. Views are the authors' and not necessarily indicative of my own beliefs.

This is a work in progress so entries will appear and disappear over time.

Without further ado; here's the 'roll!

I've been a fan of Andy Bell and Piccalil.li for the longest time. Web design, accessibility, and technology thought leadership.

Rach Smith is a developer from Australia who blogs about journaling and self-care, websites, and productivity. Her blog is reflective and gentle. A welcome change in a barrage of "LOOK AT ME!!!" content.

Technology enthusiast and all-round nice bloke, Terence Eden writes about technology, smart homes, and decent books.

Alice Bartlett writes brief weeknotes that she calls "weaknotes" about her life in Brighton; parenting and doing something quite important at the Financial Times. Mostly bullet points but with a warmth and humour that draws you in.

Amy Hupe is a Design Systems consultant who writes beautiful, introspective pieces that I've been known to re-read a few times because they kick me hard in the feels.

stillness.digital is a gorgeous side-project of Henry Desroches. Sporadic and poetic journal entries full of observation, character, and warmth.

Alice Bartlett put me onto DW's Walknotes; a contemplative account of one person's daily commute and the adventures they have on their walks. So much better than I am describing it!

I follow a lot of developer blogs, so many I am forced to skip a few when I'm too busy. Not Lewis Dale's though. Lewis writes about code and cycling in equal measure, always interesting, and never too often.

Veronique's "tiny home on the web" is full of beautiful ink drawings and gentle musings. Short posts that never fail to make me smile.

I feel like I'm late to the party with avas.space but I'm glad I eventually turned up! Insightful ponderings, tech stuff, and blogging challenges that evoke those early-Live Journal vibes.
