Sai Pallavi shares school memories and valuable life lessons with kids at Alma Mater’s annual day
Actress Sai Pallavi was honoured as the guest of honour at her alma mater, Avila Convent Matriculation Higher Secondary School, during its 58th Annual Day celebrations on January 24th, 2025. The event was a nostalgic moment for Sai, who took the opportunity to share her school memories and express her gratitude to the institution that shaped her values and career.
In her speech shared on social media, Sai Pallavi reminisced about her time at the school, particularly in the auditorium where she often practised dancing while pretending to attend classes. The 'Amaran' actress said, "I feel very overwhelmed to be here today, not just because of the memories that I've had here, especially in this auditorium." She acknowledged the support of her teachers, who silently encouraged her passion for performing arts despite knowing she was skipping classes to dance.

She also shared, "And, I think that is what has gotten me here, because stage fright is something that I think I had to overcome at a very, very young age and that is what has led me here."

During her address, Sai Pallavi also shared the importance of discipline and empathy in personal development. She acknowledged that today's youth face many distractions from social media and other sources but encouraged students to appreciate their supportive environment and the guidance of their teachers and parents. She stressed that understanding oneself is crucial for personal growth and success.
Sai Pallavi's connection to her school remains strong, as she expressed how the values instilled in her during those formative years have contributed to her achievements in the film industry. She said, "Because other than just being good at dancing or doing medicine, I think I've received whatever I have because of discipline, knowing what is, what it is to be a good human being and what it is to have empathy and also to understand that. You'll have to, at some point in time, realise that you need to have a conversation with yourself to know who you truly are and who you truly want to be."
