On the eve of Republic Day, actors Ajith Kumar and Nandamuri Balakrishna were honoured with the Padma Bhushan, one of India’s highest civilian honours. Known for their decades-long contributions to cinema, the two stars have left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry.
While fans and celebrities expressed their admiration, Ajith Kumar conveyed his gratitude through a personal note shared by his manager, Suresh Chandra. He thanked the President, the Prime Minister, and his family for their enduring support. “I am deeply grateful to my wife and children, who have been my strength over the years,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun was last seen in 'Pushpa 2: The Rule', which became a global hit. Directed by Sukumar, the highly anticipated sequel also brought back prominent stars like Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Sunil, and others from the first instalment. Sukumar is set to begin 'Pushpa 3: The Rampage' after completing his next project with Ram Charan. ETimes review for the film reads, "Rashmika Mandanna shines as Srivalli, moving beyond the archetype of a supportive partner. She becomes Pushpa’s emotional anchor, adding layers of resilience and warmth to the narrative. Her chemistry with Pushpa Raj captivates, and their peppy number Peelings is thoroughly entertaining, showcasing their dancing skills. Fahadh Faasil is chillingly entertaining as Banwar Singh Shekhawat. His understated menace and simmering quest for respect create palpable tension in every scene he inhabits. As a formidable antagonist, he matches Allu Arjun’s intensity with a performance that commands attention."
There are reports that Allu Arjun will play Lord Karthikeya in Trivikram Srinivas' upcoming mythological drama. However, confirmations are still needed.
