Recently, Karan Veer Mehra appeared on Farah Khan's YouTube show, where the filmmaker visited his home to enjoy a home-cooked meal with him. During their conversation, Karan Veer opened up about a tough time he faced while in Bigg Boss 18, revealing that his mother was hospitalized during his stint on the show. He also shared that Abhishek Kumar had offered valuable advice to his mother during that difficult period.
While speaking with Farah Khan, Karan Veer Mehra shared, "My mom was hospitalized after being diagnosed with dengue. Abhishek Kumar, who was part of Bigg Boss 17 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, is a really sweet guy and a great friend. He somehow got my mother’s number and called her."
Karan Veer revealed that Abhishek Kumar called his mother and suggested that she should not watch Bigg Boss 18 as she was getting affected. Following his suggestion, his mother decided to stop watching the show.
Farah Khan shared that her mother also watched Bigg Boss 16 when her brother Sajid Khan was a contestant on the show. The filmmaker revealed that her mother would get extremely anxious and "very hyper" while watching the Salman Khan-hosted reality show.
Karan Veer Mehra spoke about how the Bigg Boss 18 house has a way of making situations more complicated. He also shared with Farah that his mother wanted to give her a "tight hug" for supporting him during one of the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes.
