Nitin Gadkari presented ‘Dharmopasak Award’
Nagpur: In a glittering function Shri Sadguru Seva Parivar Trust presented ‘Dharmopasak Award' to Union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari recently. The award, given on the occasion of Ganesh Yag 2025, consisted of shawl, certificate, Rs 11,000 and a Peshwai turban. Senior social worker Kanchan Gadkari was also felicitated on the occasion.
Replying to his felicitation, Gadkari said, "The ‘Dharmopasak Award' is a blessing for me. This award has inspired me to do good work for the society."
The programme was attended by Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid, Dr Vilas Dangre, vice-chancellor of MIT Pune Dr Milind Pandey, Sanjay Shastri Dravid, Parag Maharaj.
Gadkari further said, "Our effort is to promote meritorious deeds on the basis of religion by harmonising spiritual science, spirituality and science. This will instill good values in the new generation and India." "Politics is about national, social and religious affairs and today's politics has the blessings of religious leaders," he said.
