Agra: Four people of Aligarh were arrested for attempting to secure employment by submitting fraudulent certificates claiming to be dependents of freedom fighters during the Uttar Pradesh police constable recruitment's document verification and physical standard/efficiency test at Kasganj Police Lines on Sunday.
Police said that upon investigation, all the certificates were found to be fake. Following SP Ankita Sharma's directives, a team arrested Ravendra Kumar, Hariprakash, Saurabh Singh, and Arpit Kumar. Police are actively searching for the remaining three suspects who fled.
Last month, Pradeep Kumar, a resident of Mathura, was apprehended during the same recruitment process. He had exceeded the age limit but attempted to reduce his age by fraudulently appearing for high school exams twice. A case was registered, and Kumar was sent to jail.
