Three held for thefts

Kagdapith police arrested three persons — Laliram Kir, 26, a resident of Vastrapur, Naresh Kir, 23, a resident of Rajasthan, and Rajmal Kir, 19, a resident of Rajasthan — allegedly for in house thefts. One of the accused — Dinesh, a resident of Memnagar — is absconding. Police said the gang used to go for cleaning the bungalows and commercial spaces that were closed for a long time, and later would carry out the theft by opening the door with the help of iron rods.
Complaint against warehouse owner
A 59-year-old resident of Maninagar filed a complaint on Thursday with Rakhiyal police alleging that 287 bundles of paper worth Rs 10 lakh kept in a rented warehouse in Rakhiyal were not returned to him. A complaint of cheating and breach of trust was registered against the owner of the warehouse and his manager by the Maninagar resident.
