Punjab: After Sidhu Moose Wala's father ultimatum, IGP calls on him

BATHINDA: A day after late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s father Balkaur Singh gave ultimatum of one month to Punjab police to provide justice or he will leave the country, the police went into overdrive. The inspector general of police Jaskaran Singh visited Moose Wala residence in Mansa on Monday and spent hours talking to Balkar Singh.
It is learnt that he assured complete justice to the bereaved family and made Balkaur Singh to talk to DGP.
IGP did not respond to request for his comments.
Balkaur Singh after the talks with IG said that, “The police have assured justice but we will wait for one month and if justice is not provided then we will take action. We have provided each and everything to the police and will see how police acts on the information provided by us."
Balkaur Singh on Sunday had levelled various charges on police and NIA saying our faith in police have eroded. The killers kept on roaming in this area for a month and many persons provided them shelter but the sacked cop Pritpal Singh left all by taking money.
