Bengaluru: Maharashtra transport minister Pratap Sarnaik, Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (
MSRTC) vice-chairman and MD Madhav Kusekar, and a team of officials visited the central office and a depot and workshop of
KSRTC here Sunday.
Karnataka transport minister Ramalinga Reddy and KSRTC vice-chairman Rizwan Nawab discussed with them the operations of premier vehicles in the corporation, labour welfare initiatives, commercial revenue, refurbishing or upgrading of buses, e-ticketing, KSRTC Arogya, the Rs 1-crore accident insurance scheme, and other initiatives.
The team from Maharashtra visited depot-2 and workshop, Bangalore Central division, KSRTC, where they observed various services such as Airavat Club Class 2.0, Airavat Club Class, Ambari Dream Class, Pallakki, Ambari Utsav, Fly Bus, City Transport, Rajahamsa, and Ashwamedha buses. The delegation appreciated the maintenance of the units, branding of vehicles, and the rejuvenation efforts put in by KSRTC.
