One dead as bike crashes into SUV in Bengaluru
Bengaluru: A 24-year-old bike-borne man was killed after crashing into an SUV, while his two friends riding pillion sustained injuries in the early hours of Sunday on Magadi Road, near Byadarahalli police station.
The deceased is Jagadish KR, a resident of Tunganagar on Magadi Road. The injured are Ravi KV, 26, a resident of Arsikere in Hassan district, and Suneel, 24, of Ramanagara district. The trio worked as housekeeping staff at a private firm. They were returning after attending a marriage reception. Around 2.15am, Jagadish entered Magadi Main Road from Pipeline Road, when he crashed into an SUV that was also taking a turn.
Jagadish sustained severe injuries to his chest as he fell on the SUV door. Traffic police have taken up a case against the SUV driver. Both vehicles have been seized.
