Bhopal: The temperature continues to rise in Bhopal. Day temperature on Friday was at the 39.8 degrees mark, which was the highest of the season so far. The rise in the temperature was set to continue for the next few days.
Officials of the meteorological department, Bhopal circle said, there was a circulation over southwest
Rajasthan and a trough from Vidarbha to Karnataka.

The wind direction in the city was north westerly while average wind speed was 16 kilometers per hour. The maximum wind speed in the city was 26 kmph.
Day temperature in Rajgarh, Damoh and Khajuraho was 41.8 degrees celsius. In the forecast for Bhopal on Friday, met officials said, there would be clear sky and dry weather would prevail in the city.
