Cong leader quits mid-air, joins BRS
A Congress leader from Odisha, Kailash Mukhi, announced his resignation from the party while flying in a helicopter with Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) President, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, on Wednesday. Mukhi, from Kandhamal district, joined the BRS in KCR's presence. KCR has been meeting several tribal and farm leaders from the state ahead of his party's political debut in Odisha before the 2024 elections. Sharing his photos and videos onboard with KCR, Mukhi said he instantly accepted the Telangana CM's offer and joined his party. KCR took Mukhi for a helicopter ride for about an hour.
Kailash Mukhi, the Congress leader from Kandhamal district, joined BRS in KCR’s presence. KCR has been meeting several tribal and farm leaders from the state ahead of his party’s political debut in Odisha before the 2024 elections.
Sharing his photos and videos onboard with KCR, Mukhi said he instantly accepted the Telangana CM’s offer and joined his party.
He was going to attend a social function. He asked me to accompany him in the helicopter.
