Chandigarh: Punjab’s food and drugs administration (FDA) has bagged second rank in the prestigious SFSI. FDA commisioner Punjab Dr Abhinav Trikha said the ranking validates the state’s efforts in adherence of stringent quality standards and services. He said the ultimate goal is to provide good quality and hygiene food items to the people in the state.

Action plan to save water
Chandigarh: To conserve water resources, the Haryana government would launch Water Resources Action Plan-2023-25 under Amrit Jal Kranti, an official spokesperson said on Thursday. The initiative would be launched by Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar during a programme in Chandigarh on Friday.
Mohali medical college work
Chandigarh: A Venuprasad, who is Punjab’s additional chief secretary to the chief minister, on Thursday issued directions for expediting the construction of Dr B R Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences in Mohali. The college coming up on 28 acres, while the government has also approved its design.
