Woman’s pic shared on porn site, 1 booked

CHANDIGARH: The cyber cell of the UT police has booked a Sector 56 resident for allegedly sharing photographs of a woman on Facebook and other porn sites with the intent to insult her modesty.
The Cyber cell police have been investigating the matter, but no arrest has been made in the case so far.
In her complaint, the woman alleged that Shahubuddin, a resident of Sector 56, and his accomplices posted her photographs on Facebook and some porn sites.The accused had also posted the photographs of complainant’s sister and her minor daughter on the sites to defame them in 2021. The complainant filed a complaint at SSP public window and later the complaint was forwarded to cyber cell for investigation. After verifying the facts , the cyber police registered a case agaisnt Shahubuddin.
