According to the prosecution, the boy developed enmity towards the girl for making fun of him often and ridiculing him in the presence of his friends repeatedly. He wanted to take revenge.
On Sept 25, 2020, the boy barged into the girl’s home when she was alone. He overpowered her and stabbed her on her back with scissors several times leading to her instant death.
He fled the scene after committing the crime. The Kanai police nabbed him following a complaint from the girl’s father.
The police produced him before JJB which sent him to an observation home.
