NEW DELHI: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced the sale of tickets for the 38th Surajkund International Crafts Mela, set to take place in Faridabad from February 7 to February 23.
Where to by tickets?
Tickets are now available for purchase through the DMRC Momentum 2.0 app, at metro stations, and at designated ticket counters at the mela venue.
Ticket prices are Rs 120 on weekdays and Rs 180 on weekends. Visitors can also book their tickets on the official Surajkund Mela website: https://surajkundmela.co.in/skma-stalls.html.
This initiative, a result of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between DMRC and Haryana Tourism Corporation on December 13, 2024, aims to streamline the ticketing process and provide a hassle-free experience for attendees.
Offline tickets will be available from Friday until February 23, between 9am and 6pm, at all metro stations and the mela venue.
Parking
For added convenience, DMRC has also arranged parking facilities at 10 lots for two-wheelers and four-wheelers, with a dedicated parking area for buses to enhance accessibility for group travelers.
Dept-wise stall allotment
The mela features 15 segments, including stalls by Rural Development, NABARD, Ayushman Bharat, Jute Board, and handicraft stalls, among others. States like Odisha and Madhya Pradesh are the theme states this year, each showcasing replicas of iconic monuments from their region.
How to reach
Visitors can reach the mela easily by metro, bus, tourist cabs, or coaches. Surajkund is well connected by road to Delhi, Gurgaon, and Faridabad, and the nearest airports—Indira Gandhi International and Palam Airport—are just a short drive away.
The Surajkund International Crafts Mela is open daily from 10.30am to 8.30pm, offering a cultural extravaganza for all attendees.
