Earthquake of magnitude 3.8 strikes Nagaland's Kiphire

NEW DELHI: A 3.8 magnitude earthquake hit Kiphire district in Nagaland early on Thursday morning, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) said.
The quake occurred at around 07.22am IST at a depth of 65 kilometers.
The epicentre of the earthquake was located at Latitude 25.62 N and Longitude 94.90 E, at a depth of 65km, the NCS reported .

"EQ of M: 3.8, On: 28/11/2024 07:22:58 IST, Lat: 25.62 N, Long: 94.90 E, Depth: 65 Km, Location: Kiphire, Nagaland," NCS posted on X.
