Rs 33-crore crystal meth seized in Aizawl, 1 held
Assam Rifles personnel and the special narcotics cell of Mizoram Police seized 1 lakh tablets of methamphetamine worth Rs 33.3 crore at Thuampui in Aizawl on Tuesday.

One person has been apprehended in this connection.
The drugs, also known as 'crystal meth', were recovered from the accused's yellow cement bag. It contained 10 brown parcels in which the drugs were hidden.
The drugs and the apprehended person were handed over to Special Narcotics Police Station, CID (crime).
