HUBBALLI: The residents of Hubballi are finding it very difficult to register for the state government’s Gruha Jyoti scheme - due to technical glitches.
Since Sunday, people have been trying to register for the scheme. Due to technical hurdles, the official website for registration is not fetching the account ID details and not performing Aadhar authentication, saying ‘invalid credentials’.

Irked with these technical problems, people are pointing fingers towards the authorities concerned and the elected representatives.
At the Karnataka One centre in Hubballi, people were lining up since morning to get registered to avail the benefits under Gruha Jyoti scheme.
The staff at the centre were seen struggling to carry out work due to server issues and were unable to complete the registration process.
To register, users can log onto Seva Sindhu (https://sevasindhugs.karnataka.gov.in) via their mobile phones, computers or at Karnataka One and Grama One centres, gram panchayats, nadakacheris and Escom offices.
Applicants need to furnish their Aadhaar number, consumer account or connection ID, name and address as registered with escom and contact number to register. After trying all options, people are fed up of technical problems.

Shivaram, a resident of Deshpande nagar, said: “Despite of visiting the Karnataka One office from last three days, my registration is yet to be done. Officials keep saying there are technical issues as the server is down, because of which the registration process has been hampered.”
Ramachandra Kamble, a resident of Old Hubballi area said: “This is my third day here to get the registration done. The staff working have been telling us from past three days that there is server issue. Skipping work, we have been visiting the centre, but there is no service. The officials are least bothered and are not solving problems that have arisen from the past three days," he added.
