Kishan warns Congress of serious consequences
Hyderabad: Telangana BJP chief and Union coal minister G Kishan Reddy on Tuesday described the clash between Congress and BJP activists as a cowardly act and warned that if Congress fails to change its approach, it will face serious consequences.
Kishan Reddy strongly condemned the alleged attack on the BJP state office in Nampally, which was reportedly carried out by Youth Congress activists. He questioned the need for such actions, especially after the BJP leader had already expressed regret for his comments directed at Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi.
The Union minister emphasised that intolerance has no place in a democratic society, reiterating the party's firm opposition to any form of violence. He stressed that physical attacks against the BJP would not be tolerated. "This incident at our party office highlights the deteriorating law and order situation in Telangana, where activists linked to the ruling party have been targeting political opponents ever since Congress regained power," he said.
