Tezu-Itanagar flight ops begin

Itanagar: The much-anticipated flight service connecting Tezu in Lohit district to Hollongi Airport near here was launched on Thursday, marking a milestone in regional connectivity.
The maiden flight, operated by a DO228 aircraft, was greeted with a warm reception at Tezu airport by the officials of the district administration, a press release from the district information and public relations officer (DIPRO) said.
The welcoming team was led by Tezu additional deputy commissioner Rebecca Tayeng along with circle officer Habung Moda, food and civil supplies officer Tomo Gamlin, DIPRO Nyatum Doke and other officials.
