3 children burnt alive in Rajasthan's Barmer

JAISALMER: Three children were burnt alive in a fire incident at Bandra village in Nagana police station area of Barmer district on Wednesday evening.
According to police, the three kids were playing near a hut in a field close to their house when suddenly the hut caught fire and the kids got trapped in it. Police said as per information the fire spread so fast that they could not be taken out.Hearing their cries nearby people reached the spot and tried to douse the fire by throwing water but they could not be saved. By the time police and fire brigade vehicles reached the spot, the kids had died. Bodies were kept at the mortuary. The deceased were identified as Swaroopi (4) Ashok (2) and Rukma (6). Ashok and Rukma were siblings and their father Hingol Singh had died 8 years ago. tnn
