‘Oppn standing against good things’

Kottayam: Minister V N Vasavan said that the opposition is standing against whatever good things the govt is doing. Vasavan told reporters on Thursday that 39.55cr litres of ethanol is being brought to Kerala. This comes from Karnataka and Maharashtra. A transporting charge of Rs 10 per litre has to be given for this. If it is produced in Kerala, the expense will be only Rs 2 per litre. Some are arguing that our money should be given to Karnataka. This is to help the spirit lobby there, he said. TNN
