MUMBAI: The state government is committed to fulfilling the housing dream of the common man and every effort is being made to construct about one lakh houses through MHADA in the next two years. The state's housing policy will be announced soon to achieve this goal , said deputy chief minister

The Pune Housing and Area Development Board (a component of MHADA) conducted a computerized lottery for the sale of 3,662 flats in various housing schemes in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad and PMRDA and Solapur districts through a video conferencing system in the presence of deputy chief minister and Pune guardian minister Ajit Pawar, Minister of State for Housing Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar , MHADA Pune Board Chairman Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil , MHADA Vice Chairman and CEO Sanjeev Jaiswal. Mr. Shinde was speaking on this occasion.

Deputy chief minister Shri. Shinde said that according to this housing policy , hostels will be set up at various places for common citizens, working women , students , senior citizens. 71,642 applications have been received with deposit amount for the lottery organized for the sale of 3662 flats of MHADA Pune Board. This is the trust shown by the applicants in
Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA).
In order to justify this trust of the applicants, the winning applicants in the lottery should be given possession of the flats immediately without compromising anywhere in the quality of the houses and the transparency of the lottery. The Maharashtra Government is constructing affordable houses through various schemes.
Planned housing construction through group redevelopment schemes in the cities of Mumbai, Pune and Thane
He said that MHADA has provided about 30 thousand houses through 13 lots in the last one and a half years , which is a commendable thing. The government is making every effort to get the stalled housing projects on track and to redevelop the slums. A large amount of housing stock will be available through this means as well. Mr. Shinde said that the government is trying to carry out planned house construction through the Group Redevelopment Scheme in the cities of Mumbai, Pune and Thane. Mr. Shinde also promised to implement the Group Redevelopment Scheme in Pune.
Committed to fulfilling the housing dreams of the common manDeputy chief minister Shri. Ajit Pawar said that this lottery process is being implemented through this completely online computerized system without human intervention. According to this new system, the applicant participates in the lottery process only after the application is registered and eligibility is confirmed. After being declared the winner of the lottery , a notification letter is sent to the applicant and after fulfilling the provisions thereof, a temporary offer letter is sent to the winning applicants.
This entire process is very simple, easy and transparent and no intermediary/broker has been appointed by MHADA for this. MHADA beneficiaries are a big investment for MHADA and the beneficiaries are MHADA's brand ambassadors. Shri. Pawar said that the Maharashtra government is committed to fulfilling the housing dream of the common man.
Mr. Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil said that the Pune Board has provided a large number of affordable houses.
The draw was live-streamed on MHADA 's official YouTube and Facebook social media platforms @mhadaofficial. The live broadcast was watched by 48,000 people.
The list of winning applicants in the draw will be published on MHADA's website https://housing.mhada.gov.in at 6:00 PM and the winning applicants will also be informed immediately via SMS about their winnings.
On this occasion, Thane district collector Mr. Ashok Shingare , Thane Municipal Commissioner Saurabh Rao , MHADA Deputy Chief Executive Officer Anil Wankhade , MHADA Pune Board Chief Officer Rahul Sakore , Deputy Chief Engineer Sunil Nanavare , Anil Ankalgi , Chief Information and Communication Technology Officer Savita Bodke , Deputy Chief Officer Atul Khode , Deputy Engineer Manisha More etc. were present.
