Railways to operate 2 special trains between Mumbai, Sawantwadi for Anganewadi Mela

To manage the increased passenger demand during Anganewadi Mela, the Railways will introduce two special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Sawantwadi Road on 23rd and 24th February. These trains will feature various classes of accommodation and make multiple stops along the route. The initiative aims to ensure smooth travel for attendees of the event.

MUMBAI: To accommodate the extra rush of passengers during Anganewadi Mela, the Railways will run two additional special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) and Sawantwadi Road.
Train No. 01134 Special will depart from Sawantwadi Road at 6 pm on 23rd February and arrive at LTT at 6.25 am the next day. Similarly, Train No. 01133 Special will depart from LTT at 8.20 am on 24th February and reach Sawantwadi Road at 7 pm the same day.
The train will comprise one AC 2-Tier coach, three AC 3-Tier coaches, two AC 3-Tier Economy coaches, eight Sleeper class coaches, and four General Second class coaches. It will halt at Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar Road, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, and Kudal.
