RCNV and SVMM join hands for life-saving surgery of kidney patient

Nagpur: The Rotary Club of Nagpur Vision (RCNV), in collaboration with Swami Vivekanand Medical Mission (SVMM), extended critical support to 48-year-old Devendra Waghmare, a dialysis patient struggling to meet medical expenses. Waghmare, who refills printer cartridges to support his family, was unable to continue his dialysis due to the need for a vital arterial surgery.
RCNV stepped in promptly, coordinating with Dr Sandeep Khanzode, who admitted the patient at SVMM and performed the surgery on an urgent basis. The successful procedure has enabled Waghmare to resume his dialysis and improve his health. RCNV president Jaishree Chhabrani, scretary Mufazzal Fidvi, and director Ashwini Tayade expressed gratitude to Dr Khanzode for his timely intervention and to Ritesh Tahaliyani for his efforts in coordinating with the hospital.
