RAIPUR: The Bharatiya Janata Party (
BJP) has launched a patriotic
campaign called "Har Ghar Tiranga" to celebrate the 75th anniversary of India's independence. The campaign aims to instill a sense of nationalism and patriotism among the citizens and expose the
Congress party's alleged attempts to harm the nation and its people.
During a pivotal meeting held at the BJP state office in Kushabhau Thakre University premises, the party's national spokesperson and Bihar state minister, Guruprakash Paswan, provided guidance on the campaign's implementation.
He emphasized that the campaign should be comprehensive and executed with determination on August 11, 12, and 13. The youth wing will lead the campaign in every assembly constituency, and everyone is expected to participate wholeheartedly.
As part of the campaign, cleanliness drives and garlanding ceremonies will be conducted at all memorials, including war memorials and statues of martyrs, from August 12 to 14. The campaign will be implemented in every booth of each division, with social workers at the district level ensuring their participation. Promotion through social media and the NaMo app is crucial, and press conferences will be held at the state and district levels to ignite patriotism among the public.
BJP state president Kiran Singh Dev highlighted the importance of involving children in the campaign to foster a sense of national unity. The youth wing will organize rallies, and a Tiranga Yatra will be held from August 11 to 14. Every worker should ensure that the flag is hoisted at every home and business center from August 13 to 15.
Deputy chief minister Arun Sao affirmed that the BJP is a party founded on ideology, working tirelessly for national service, social service, and the nation's development. He contrasted this with the Congress party, which he accused of perpetually endeavoring to harm the nation and its citizens. The 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to strengthen the sense of nationalism and patriotism and expose the Congress party's alleged machinations, he said.
Chhattisgarh finance minister OP Chaudhary stated that the BJP aspires to instill a sense of nationalism globally and has set a target of hoisting 50 flags at each booth under the campaign. The campaign will involve administrative support and will be spearheaded by party workers in every village panchayat by August 15, he said.
BJP state organisation general secretary Pavan Sai emphasized that the youth wing will lead the campaign, with district presidents and their officials overseeing the program. The campaign will be conducted in all assemblies, with a major event at the division level. The BJP aims to work for national strength and counter anti-national forces, ensuring the campaign reaches every household effectively.
The meeting also addressed the observance of August 14 as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, commemorating the day when the nation was bifurcated into two parts. The BJP will organize seminars and exhibitions in every district to remind the public of the partition's atrocities, which displaced 20 million individuals and resulted in the deaths of millions.
