Businessman shot by armed assailants in Ramgarh

Ramgarh: A 28-year-old transport businessman was shot and injured when two motorcycle-borne assailants opened fire at him in Kuju Transport Nagar, Ramgarh district, on Sunday night. The victim, Anil Keshri, was attacked at his transport office under Kuju outpost police station's jurisdiction. Ramgarh sub-divisional police officer Parmeshwar Prasad confirmed that unidentified gunmen carried out the attack. Keshri was initially rushed to a local hospital and later referred to Rims, Ranchi, for further treatment. Police have launched an investigation into the incident. No arrests have been made so far.
