CM to launch ‘KaWaCHaM’ tomorrow

Thiruvananthapuram: The disaster risk warning system, Kerala Warnings Crisis and Hazards Management System (KaWaCHaM) will be inaugurated by chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday. As part of this, sirens will sound at 5pm on Tuesday at nine locations across the district.
In the state capital, KaWaCHaM is installed at locations such as Muttathara village office, Poovar Govt VHSS, Karikkakom Govt HSS, Kizhuvilam Govt UPS, Kattakada Kulathummal Govt HSS, Pozhiyoor Mini Auditorium, Vellarada Govt UPS, Kallara Govt VHSS, and Vithura Govt VHSS. The district disaster management authority has informed that people should not panic when the sirens sound.
