Union min praises BLW at Industrial Fair in Rajkot

Varanasi: The Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW) has established its pavilion at 9th India Industrial Fair-2025, which started in Rajkot, Gujarat, on Feb 2.
Union minister Nimuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya formally inaugurated the pavilion, said BLW spokesman Rajesh Kumar. After going through the technologies exhibited at the pavilion, the minister appreciated the advanced technological developments in the locomotive sector and praised the BLW's contribution to manufacturing electric and export diesel locomotives.
At this industrial fair, BLW is showcasing its locomotive models and indigenous manufacturing capabilities under the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat' initiative. The BLW models being diplayed include WAP-7 & WAG-9,
export diesel locomotive and
6000 HP WAG-9 Running model. Chief Quality assurance manager Ramjanm Chaubey, assistant works manager Rajeev Mishra, and their team are camping at the pavilion. tnn
