The actress was in the news this past week over a video of her emotional outburst in which she was seen crying over deportations of illegal immigrants by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. She later deleted the video which resulted in her getting trolled online. In the post, she said, "I just wanted to say that I’m so sorry. All my people are getting attacked, the children. I don’t understand. I’m so sorry. I wish I could do something but I can’t. I don’t know what to do. I’ll try everything, I promise."
Several netizens criticized her for posting and crying over illegal immigrants and began trolling her prompting her to respond saying, "Apparently it’s not ok to show empathy for people."
