Kanye West, the American singer has been crowned ‘hypocrite’ all over social media after the video of him shaming and giving ‘anxiety’ to his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian resurfaced on the internet, amid the controversial coat-drop of his current wife Bianca Censori on the red carpet of the 67th Grammys.
Six years ago during the MET Gala season, Kanye had an unpleasant conversation with Kim Kardashian, the American socialite, about the dress she was wearing for the event. She wore a form-fitting corset dress made from latex, covered in crystal droplets. The rapper expressed that he feels bad when the reality star wears ‘tight’ outfits in public. While he was transitioning as a rapper, he discovered that earlier when he wanted his beau to look like other girls - wearing ‘sexy’ outfits, it affected his ‘soul’. After being a father of four kids, the ‘Gold Digger’ singer felt that while a corset is ‘hot’ it is a type of underwear. The ‘American Horror Story’ actor responded by dismissing his words and accusing him of giving her anxiety. He continued by saying, “You are my wife, and it affects me when the pictures are too sexy.”
More than half a decade later, he casually asked for his current wife, Bianca Censori to make a scene on the red carpet by dropping the black coat and revealing her sheer mini dress, according to Daily Mail’s lip reader source. West shared a picture of the dress on his Instagram handle, captioning it ‘THE INVISIBLE DRESS’.
A few months after the Gala incident, Kim revealed how Kanye influenced her outfits and changed her style. In a viral clip from her reality show, the star reveals that her fiery outfit was influenced by Kanye which he picked.
In the succeeding MET Gala in 2021, Kardashian made headlines for wearing a head-to-toe long sleeved black bodysuit which covered her face as well. According to People’s magazine, the insider revealed, “Kanye gave her the courage to push creativity and people's imagination through art. It's the ultimate confidence."
Grammy’s jaw-dropping incident was not taken with smiles by Bianca’s loved ones. According to the Daily Mail, Censori’s mother, Alexandra Censori declined to comment on her daughter’s actions, and her father Leo Censori had plans to intervene and confront the rapper about parading her inappropriately in public.
