Do You Think the Success of Sky Force Has Significantly Impacted Deva's Box Office Performance?

Deva opened with Rs 5.5 crore on its first Friday and saw some growth over the weekend, collecting Rs 6.4 crore on Saturday and Rs 7.25 crore on Sunday. However, the film experienced a sharp decline in collections from Monday onwards, with weekday earnings dropping significantly. By the end of its first week, the movie had earned Rs 28.4 crore. Entering its second weekend, the numbers further dipped, with Deva collecting only Rs 80 lakhs on its second Friday and an estimated Rs 1.2 crore on its second Saturday, bringing its total collection to Rs 30.40 crore in 9 days.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan and Veer Pahariya's Sky Force, which hit theaters a week before Deva, continues to hold strong. The patriotic action drama earned Rs 1.50 crore on Saturday ( 16th day), bringing its total to an impressive Rs 107.85 crore. The sustained performance of Sky Force has further affected Deva’s business, making its road to recovery even tougher. In fact Deva hasn't been able to take advantage of the new releases this week like Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s Loveyapa and Himesh Reshammiya’s Badass Ravikumar which has generated very little collection at the box.
With Deva struggling to keep up, it remains to be seen if it can sustain itself in the coming days or fade away from the box office race.
