‘Sky Force’ box office collection day 16: The Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya starrer witnesses a rise of more than 80 percent on Saturday

In its third week at the box office, 'Sky Force' has grossed Rs. 107.85 crores, despite fluctuations in earnings. The movie, directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur, showcases India's first airstrike, with Akshay Kumar in the lead. Meanwhile, 'Badass Ravikumar' has outperformed 'Loveyapa' in recent collections.

Headlined by Akshay Kumar and introducing Veer Pahariya, ‘Sky Force’ is currently enjoying its third-week run at the box office. After 16 days of its theatrical release, it has collected Rs.107.85 crore at the box office, according to the Sacnilk report.
Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur, the movie centers around India’s first airstrike. With the intent of showing the valor of India’s bravehearts, the movie was released before the Republic Day weekend. It made an opening with Rs.12.25 crore, which rose to Rs. 22 crore and Rs. 28 crore on the following Saturday and Sunday. Thereafter, the movie had its journey of highs and lows. The second weekend to be specific witnessed a major drop in the business. However, it seems the movie still hasn’t given up on the fight. As it entered the third week, on Friday, it made only Rs.0.8 crore, and the rough data of Saturday collection shows that the movie minted Rs.1.15 crore on day 16. This highlighted a growth of 87.50 percent.

Meanwhile, two new movies have entered the box office - ‘Loveyapa’ and ‘Badass Ravikumar.’ The former is a romantic comedy, while the latter is a musical action parody. Further, starring Himesh Reshammiya, ‘Badass Ravikumar’ so far has been leading the race ahead of Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor starrer ‘Loveyapa.’
