What Makes a Movie Truly Unforgettable?

The film had an opening of around Rs 12 crore, post which it started seeing a gradual drop in the numbers. This year, Republic Day was on Sunday it self, so it did not benefit much from it but added to the patriotic vibe as one has not seen a good patriotic movie in a while. It has been able to sustain decently well. On its day 8, which is second Friday, the movie made a business of Rs 2.75 crore. Thus, the total collection of the film so far, according to Sacnilk, is Rs 89.25 crore. While it's now inching closer to Rs 100 crore, the film will have to do really well on this second Saturday and Sunday, to be able to further boost its collections. It will be able to cross Rs 100 crore by next week if it has a good weekend and remains steady in the coming week as well.

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor's 'Deva' which released on Friday, is now giving a tough competition to the movie. The movie made around Rs 5 crore on its opening day and is seen a good word of mouth, hence should be able to see a jump over the weekend and bring in better numbers.
