The website reports that Sky Force collected around Rs 4.95 crore net in India on Saturday, bringing its total collection to Rs 94.45 crore net. On its opening day, the film earned Rs 12.5 crore net and made Rs 86.5 crore net in its first week.

The film saw a drop in collections on its second Friday, earning Rs 3 crore, but picked up over the weekend. Despite competition from the Shahid Kapoor-starrer Deva, the film seems to be holding its ground. On Saturday, the film’s producers, Maddock Films, announced that Sky Force has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide.
Sky Force features Akshay Kumar as Wing Commander Kumar Om Ahuja, a fictional character inspired by Om Prakash Taneja VrC. Veer Pahariya, in his debut film, plays T Krishna Vijaya, also known as Tabby, based on Ajjamada Boppayya Devayya MVC. Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan play their wives.

The film is based on the Sargodha airbase attack on Pakistan during the 1965 Indo-Pakistani air war, marking India’s first airstrike. Produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, the film’s team offered significant discounts in multiplexes during the Republic Day weekend to attract more viewers.
Veer shared wih ANI that he initially auditioned for a different film, but during the look and screen tests, something about him caught the attention of the team. He expressed feeling incredibly fortunate to be part of Sky Force, a film that honors a real hero and showcases his inspiring story to the world.
