Priyanka Chopra recently returned to India to celebrate the joyous wedding of her brother, Siddharth Chopra, with Neelam Upadhyaya. Priyanka treated fans to her stylish pictures from the wedding. However, it was veteran actress Rekha’s presence and her choice of jewellery that sparked intrigue among fans.
On February 7, Siddharth and Neelam exchanged vows in a ceremony attended by close family and friends. Among the notable guests were Nita Ambani and her daughter-in-law, Shloka Ambani, who graced the event with their presence. Rekha, known for her bond with Priyanka, also attended the wedding. The actress opted for an exquisite ivory saree, elevating her look with a dazzling diamond necklace from Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s jewellery collection. The striking piece bore a resemblance to the grand necklace Priyanka had worn during her Hindu wedding with Nick Jonas in 2018. Many wondered whether Rekha had rented PeeCee’s jewellery.


After a Reddit post highlighting the striking resemblance between the two necklaces went viral, one user commented, “Most probably, Sabya lent PC that neckpiece (like how they do barter), and she returned it after the wedding! Now Rekha got to wear it.” Another noted, “PC's one has an extra layer... the rest is exactly the same.” Many called this a sustainable move.

Meanwhile, actress and Priyanka’s cousin, Parineeti Chopra, also made a fashionable entry at the wedding with her husband, Raghav Chadha. She looked adorable in a red and beige lehenga set, while Raghav kept it minimal with a beige and brown outfit. Parineeti shared the first glimpse of Siddharth tying the knot with Neelam in a dreamy ceremony.

Nick Jonas and Malti Marie also stole the spotlight in their ethnic ensembles alongside Priyanka.
