During the conversation, Arhaan asked his uncle Salman about his thoughts on him entering the film industry and sought advice on how to navigate it. Salman reminisced about his own early days and shared an anecdote from when he was preparing to enter the industry. He recalled his father, the legendary screenwriter Salim Khan, asking him critical questions: "Can you do action?" Salman replied in the affirmative, but his father probed further: "Can you convincingly kill 10 people at once? Can you play a lawyer, a cop, or a street thug?" To these, Salman admitted he couldn’t.
Salim Khan then told him, "At most, you’ll get a love story!" Salman shared that this conversation stuck with him and shaped his perspective as he built his career.
Salman then turned the tables on Arhaan, asking him if he saw himself better than the current big names in the industry—Tiger Shroff,
Varun Dhawan,
Sidharth Malhotra, and
Shahid Kapoor. When Arhaan humbly replied in the negative, Salman laid down a clear path for his nephew. He advised him that these stars are his competition and that Arhaan must narrow the gap between being a fan and becoming a hero, eventually surpassing them. Salman emphasized that this was the approach he had taken in his own career to rise to the top.
