Bollywood star Salman Khan recently opened up about a terrifying flight experience while chatting with his nephew, Arhaan Khan, on his YouTube channel. During the candid conversation, the actor recounted a nerve-wracking incident that occurred when he was traveling abroad with actress Sonakshi Sinha and his younger brother, Sohail Khan.
Sharing his experience on the Dumb Biryani channel, Salman recalled how their flight back from an award show was hit by severe turbulence. The turbulence lasted for a staggering 45 minutes, leaving most passengers in sheer panic. Interestingly, while the cabin was filled with fear, Sohail appeared unfazed and managed to sleep through the entire ordeal.

“Everyone was laughing, and suddenly, there was turbulence. At first, it seemed normal, but then the noise grew louder, and the entire flight went silent. Sohail and I were on the same flight, and when I looked at him, he was sleeping. The turbulence continued for 45 minutes,” Salman revealed.
The actor admitted that he became genuinely concerned when he observed the tense expressions of the flight crew. He saw the air hostess praying and panicking, which made him feel anxious. The pilots, who usually remain composed, appeared nervous, and the oxygen masks dropped. The actor revealed that he had only seen such scenes in films, and when things finally stabilised after 45 minutes, everyone started laughing again.
Actress Sonakshi Sinha was accompanied by her mother on the flight, and just when things seemed to have settled, the turbulence struck again for another 10 minutes, plunging the cabin into deep silence until they landed safely.
On the work front, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of 'Sikandar'. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film features Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Sharman Joshi, and Prateik Babbar in pivotal roles.
