Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi are currently gearing up for the release of their upcoming Telugu film Thandel. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the film is based on a story by Karthik Theeda. As part of its promotional campaign, the makers hosted the grand Thandel Jaathara event in Hyderabad, which saw several big names in attendance, including filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga (SRV).
During the event, SRV made an interesting revelation about how Naga Chaitanya's real-life style influenced the looks of characters in his hit Bollywood films Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor and Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor. Speaking about the Majili star, he said, "For some reason, even without knowing certain actors personally, you feel a special inclination towards them, and Chaitanya is one of them."
He further shared, "In reality, the way you dress and even the way you drive your Lamborghini - I asked my costume designer to take references from your real-life outfits for Kabir Singh and Animal. I’ve never shared this before, but I thought I would today." SRV wrapped up his speech by wishing Naga Chaitanya the very best for Thandel.

Sai Pallavi, the leading lady of Thandel, also made an appearance at the event despite being unwell. Expressing her admiration for SRV, she said, "Sandeep Reddy Garu, I feel every director should have a strong voice, and yours is so unfiltered - on screen, in interviews, and everywhere. It is refreshing to see someone who isn't influenced by external pressures."

She also praised his journey from Arjun Reddy to now making larger-than-life films, adding that audiences eagerly await his projects. She concluded by thanking him for attending the event.
